This is a great little time-saver. It plugs into the car's wiring harness just like the stock radio and can be pre-wired to the new radio's wiring stub so when putting in the new radio it is just a plug in and close the dash back up. It works beautifully and definitely worth the price in the time saved.

I'm not sure that this was actually a Metra harness that I received; none the less, it does its job well for a 2006 Suzuki Reno. The only problem I found was that I had to re-pin the yellow power wire that provides a constant + (it didn't actually have a yellow wire, I used one of the Orange wires that was unnecessary because I didn't a dimmer on the radio I purchased, and moved it to the location of where the constant + should be on the harness) I gave 4 stars because I had to re-pin, but I couldn't find this harness in town, so for under $5 I can't really complain.

This was easy to install and every wire was clearly marked for what its connection was for. They have a "color guide" on the package it came in, but I found it easier to use the actual wire markings/identification that was clearly printed on each and every wire.

I will say that it was time consuming to solder all the joints, but after that... the heat shrink tubing I used was quick and I plugged it in to the OEM harness and powered up my new head unit without any problems.

I would highly recommend this.

Product appears to be fine. And I realize that I ordered it from North America. However it says 1998-2008 Suzuki and makes NO mention of North American Suzuki products only, or that it won't work with the Japanese models.

30 minutes to soldier all wires and shrink the shrink tubing. Would recomend soldiering wires if they are to be hidden behind an enclosure, that way you do not have to worry about anything coming loose.
