Serious Sam: The Second Encounter picks up where the The First Encounter left off. And I have to say that it's even better than the original. It's far more intense, the settings are more diverse and beautiful, and the main bosses are even harder to defeat. New weapons and power-ups are added, and Serious Sam continues to spew some rather hilarious one-liners. The secrets in this game are even harder to find, while the music is still as great as the music in First Encounter. The South American, Babylonian, and Germanic touches to the music really make this an unforgettable experience (and the Christmas sequence makes me want to laugh so hard). All in all, I fully enjoyed it. It's one of the best PC games that I've ever played.

It's cheesy design and presentation only make me enjoy it more. the guns, oh so many to choose from. the guys with bombs for heads that run at you yelling their kamikazi heads off. it's so fun for just sitting around doing nothing. i get stressed playing games with too intense graphics and gameplay. it's nice to retreat to the haven of serious sam and hold the mouse button down while things come at me.
