They have a better grip than picks with rubber attached to them. They are very tough. I bought a dozen and I am guessing that they will last for at least a year.

They are stiff, so if you are used to something flexible, you will need to go to a thinner model than your old picks.

The only thing I can find wrong is that they are only beveled on one side. This costs them one star.

Good picks, but I hate 'em. Not the picks fault, I realized shortly after I bought 'em that I just don't like the big triangular form factor. Hence the good review, but the me-not-liking-'em thing. You might love 'em. They are well made, good tone and grippy. (I find that "'em" is easier to type then them" - one less character - but now I just trashed that efficiency by explaining that. On the other hand, what is there to right, really, in a pick review?). I have gone over to Wegan picks, which are just superior to most of what is out there, imo, for me anyway. Gravity picks are a close 2nd, better for some things. Although there is some fair competition. V-picks are fun too, especially if you like really fat picks. Have fun!

I recently switched to these larger size picks from the standard plectrums. I have trouble with picks sliding out of my fingers. So I have tried a ton of picks, some slick and some grippy. I have also tried just about every thickness there is.

They fit great in my big hands and the tactile quality of the surface makes them easy to grip and the high quality finish makes them easy on my fingers. They are not super grippy, so if you are looking for something with extra grip, you will be better off looking elsewhere. (Gorilla Snot will make any pick grippy.)

They provide a nice crisp tone on my custom dreadnought as well as on my Martin OMC, both strumming and picking. Their broad shape may not be the easiest shape for speed. But that's a matter of personal preference.

Because of the excellent finish and overall quality of these picks, they get my highest rating. They are certainly worth a try, even if you don't have big hammy hands.

I'm a touring bass player, and when I find an item I like, I stick with it for years! And this will be one of those items!! I mainly use my fingers when I play, but sometimes you want that "chunky" sound of a pick for certain songs. I used to use Fender picks, but then I found these Claytons and I absolutely love them!! They just feel right between your fingers. They have a nice "grippy" feel, and give just the right amount of flex I'm looking for. I have other endorsements, so I might just have to contact Clayton now to see if I can pick up one with them too! Try 'em out for yourself! They're really great! I prefer the .94MM's.

I usually use .72 picks, thought I would try some .8s. Can't complain about the quality or the shape ... I like both, especially the larger equal-sided triangular shape. However, .8s sound to bassy for my taste, not enough high end. Not really a problem with the pick but if you like a crisper sound I'd go with .72 or .56. I bought some .56 versions of the same pick and love them!

I'm kind of disappointed in these after reading such great reviews.

I purchased the 1.07MM picks for my bass and was initially impressed with the nice size and comfort of holding. It's pretty cool that you can also use any of the three sides of the pick to strum your instrument. The picks also produce a nice chunky sound without sounding too harsh. Unfortunately, the picks will warp after about 10 minutes of play. I don't know if this has to do with the specific gauge I purchased or just a bad batch or something else I'm not aware of. They're nice picks but I just can't shake the discomfort and having to adapt my strumming to a warped pick.

I love the sound I get from these picks, It is easy to hang onto, gives you three picking surfaces to use, lasts longer that way. I always turn players on to using these. after one or 2 songs you are used to them.

For the money, you cannot beat these picks. As a bluegrasser, volume Isn't something we get through turning a dial. These picks provide great clarity and volume. They also last a really long time. A national flat-picking champion turned me on to these. A little dip of the grip end in polyurethane and you get a picke that is tacky without residue and sounds great.
