I have a red-eared slider in a 120 gallon aquarium. Over the last 4 years, since she was the size of a cookie, I've tried numerous types and brands of food. The Wardley sticks are, hands down, the winner. The turtle, now about a foot long and still growing in tiny increments, loves them and they also create the least mess so we're both happy! Other sticks and pellets crumbled quickly and made a huge mess which was no fun for myself who had to clean the mess or the turtle who had to swim in that. Her behavior indicates that she prefers this food to the other brands I've tried. She has been reluctant to eat some other foods and has even refused some yet she splashes for attention and swims right over to gobble it up when she sees me with this container in hand.

My turtle does occasionally enjoy other foods like dried river shrimp, krill pellets, and even goldfish but the Wardley sticks are her main and daily diet that clearly keep her very healthy and happy. I always buy the big containers since they store so well and can therefore be stocked to reduce frequency of yet another errand in my schedule.

I have three Red Eared Sliders. I have tried different brands but they like this brand the best. I like purchasing the large container because it lasts for months. This is the only food I give them. I tried the shrimp but it just ended up in the filter as they did not eat it.

I have a red-eared slider turtle. He lives in a small pond in our backyard. Pretty shy usually, but comes up to eat and really chows down. Love the large size container, as just a few pieces won't work in such a large surface.

I was very pleased to see this product available in this size and such a fantastic price. Since my turtles are about 10 years old and have been eating this all along, they are still very happy! When they are not in hibernation, which is during the late spring and summer months, they eat a lot! and this is very economical. They just wait for me to shake the can and line up for their food. Will be reordering from this seller.

This product is okay, only because it breaks down a bit too rapidly which leaves a ton of residue in the bottom of my 1 gallon aquarium I use solely for feeding, however. If you are usually used to feeding in the actual 10-20 gal aquariums I truly do not recommend this, only because there will be a ton of residue left within the aquarium, even with a filter. Over all the turtles like this treat much more than the tetra reptile sticks which didn't break down at all. So yeah, just a heads up on the break down of this product.

I have 4 baby turtles (barely two months old). I have tried just about every type of turtle food you can imagine - and this food is their FAVORITE. Oh course they would rather have live crickets to eat, but I only do that once every 1-2 weeks. For their regular meals, they eat Wardley!!!

You just can't go wrong with these! I love how they have calcium which is very important for the turtles diet. My 1 year Eastern River Cooter and my hatchling Eastern Painted Slider absolutely love these! It would be awesome if they came in a smaller size though. It's a bit big for a hatchling to swallow. Other than that I recommend these sticks 100%!!!
