Natracare makes great and non-toxic products, but the labeling is lousy. They make two lines of pads - the "ultras," which are really very thin, and definitely not for heavy days, and the "maxis," which are considerably thicker.

In the store it's easy to tell them apart because the maxis are packed in a plastic bag (loose), and the ultras are in a box (individually wrapped).

I really wish they would make a sampler pack, if only for Amazon.

UPDATE: Natracare now has an "Ultra Extra" line, and has updated its packaging. The Ultra Extras are a bit longer and thicker than the ordinary Ultras, but still not as thick as the Maxis. The envelopes have also been improved to be a bit more robust (they feel like plastic, not like the old thin paper, but the box assures me this is plant-based).

I love this brand in the long box or plastic container but these should be titled panty liners! My period flows heavy irregularly and these work if you always have an extra on you but as soon as it looks like you have fully "stained" the pad you really need to change this one or else it is definitely going to overlow if you get in the middle of a heavy spot!

I might keep buying these for the last day of my period but otherwise I think these should at least be labeled "light" and not regular. I changed my pad three times today and my evening pad is unfortunately failing me. I am also thin and have never used a size beyond "regular" in any brand that will last me a 8-12 hours if I need it to (I used to work long shifts) so this really only holds a tiny amount.

I also like the wings.
They work great to prevent spills.

The stickiness isn't cheap either.
It adheres well to fabric.

My skin can't handle the plastic-y materials but big name brands use (even their "natural" options). But these are great! Used for maternity and late post partum with no irritation. Would highly recommend! These are soft, comfortable and unnoticeable.

These are excellent pads, effective and comfortable due to the natural cotton. Also, these are more narrow than other super sized pads, a much better fit for me.

However, Amazon's price is twice as much as other stores, both on the internet and locally. I just paid $4.99 for the exact same product!

I love the fact that I am using a toxin-free sanitary pad that will not harm the environment later on after use.

I used to itch with the commercial brand sanitary pads and found out that those are loaded with toxic chemicals. UGH. Glad I switched to Natracare. Higher cost but well worth it.
