These installed without issue on my Mexican Strat with tremolo. They look better than the standard saddles, they maintain the stock string spacing, and the screws aren't jabbing my hand any more. Well-done Graph Tech.

Like others, I'm not one of the "chronic string-breakers" in the guitar community.
I break strings now and then, but usually it's related to switching out hardware, and it typically happens at the tuning posts.

That said, I LOVE these saddles. Paired with a new set of springs (a highly underrated mod!), they made my 1995 Mexico stratocaster come alive. My sustain is better, tuning improved, and I'm hearing greater harmonic detail instead of a bunch of buzzing and weak decay.

I was one of those guys who insisted on vintage fender specs until recently. A local luthier gave me his opinion of Graphtec's advancements, and told me that if he were building a guitar, he'd go for their saddles to add clarity, ensure tuning stability and simplify a lot of the problems that plague stratocaster bridges.
After he kicked my guitar into high gear with a few repairs, I took his advice seriously and invested in these.

I was expecting a dull tone, but better sustain and reliable tuning.
Instead, I hear more detail from my pickups, and I'm accomplishing the sounds I hear on my favorite 60s surf records (which I never expected).
The tuning stability and sustain are just a bonus :D

I think a big part of these saddles' sound is that they're made of high density stainless steel, like a Callaham bridge block. I can't speak to the regular string-saver saddles -- maybe they're just as good.

Put them on your guitar, and you'll be happy you did. And - SERIOUSLY - get some new springs if your sustain is weaker than expected.
...And invest in a Callaham block, Hipshot Griplock tuners, a Graphtec nut, and some Bourns pots.

I have always been a chronic string-breaker. especially when I'm doing big bends. For years I've suffered and cursed as I've broken high E and B strings at a rapid pace. It got so bad that one weekend I broke strings on 3 different Strats while practicing. I had taken to buying E and B strings in bulk...

Then I read about these String Savers, and I knew I had to give them a shot. Since my strings almost always broke at the saddles, I felt like these were made for me. I like the classic look of these over the black String Savers, but they're fairly expensive...so what I decided to do is to buy a set of these, and then divide them up on 3 strats, putting two on each guitar at the high E and B strings.

and guess what? in almost two months, i've yet to break a string!!! Not once! And I play for hours and hours on the weekends and for at least an hour every weeknight. i bend like crazy. and not one string break! it seems too good to be true, but i'm not lying. these String Savers are a god-send.

when you bend your strings, its metal rubbing on metal, the string against the saddle, and that friction just eats into the string and kills it. with these babies, the friction is almost nonexistent, so the strings slide smoothly and stay strong. like i said, for a string-breaker like me, these are a must-have.
