This is a nice sounding sub-woofer.
If I could make one improvement to it I could give it all Five stars.
That improvement would be the ability to mount the PR series full range speakers on top with an adjustable pole. The speaker has the attaching points for the Peavey top mount bracket, and the bottom has four rubber feet and the recessed pole mount cup. There is no way to stack the full range speakers on the subs as the top of the sub is angled downward toward the back. The full range speakers will need to be on tripods and the subs on the floor near the tripods.

I purchased this sub to piggy back off of a Peavey PV115D powered main to be used for DJ gigs. I wanted a 15 inch sub that sounded good and did not break my back or my bank. The poly cabinet and recessed handles make it easy to carry around and at less than 40lbs, it goes easy on my back. The 400 watts of program power is a perfect for what I need and the thumping is impressive for a 15 inch speaker. I have to note is that this sub does NOT need a crossover as it ignores anything above 140mhz. I run it through a sonic maximizer for an even more impressive effect. If you're in the market for a sub and don't need an 18 inch monster, I highly recommend you take a look at this little beast.

The final piece to my Peavy "PR" series system. I run it with 2 Peavy PR 15's. Together they fill my city park with awesome full sound. I have a Peavy IPR-1600 amp, and it holds up for hours and hours, never any problems. Great bass box. Would have gotten 5 stars if the IPR amp could run Left and Right through this one SUB but as of now I have Channel A (left) for the full range speakers and Channel B (right) for the sub. Which is probably my fault and need better cords for stereo, can't figure it out.

I was attempting to place this sub on a ledge 12' high when it dropped to the cement floor. Surprisingly, it only broke the crossover from it's mount. After some simple repairs with glue, she's back in business.
