While it is not represented in some of the pictures displayed on Amazon, this product includes the BT-3 receptor for a Pearl, or similar, tom-arm. The product may be adapted to some "non-SuperHoops" when the washers are removed from the three hoop clamps. I use that method to suspend my Musashi snare from my hi-hat stand. I use another Pearl IS1216SL/C with my Jungle Gig 16" Floor Tom Bass Drum. This is a good, solid piece of Pearl hardware and it performs as expected.

Maybe this gadget it fits in Pearl drums' hoops, but it doesn't work on the rest of the brands. I bought it because i wanted to make my 16" TAMA Floor tom as a bass drum but this thing doesn't tight well as it should be...it hangs loose...I tried on a 16" Ddrum floor tom, and the same story...Good for the Pearl Users, bad for the rest of us, i will have to sell it in order to buy another thing...
