As an enormous fan of the great John "Bonzo" Bonham; I HAD to match (to the best of my ability) the fat, warm tone of his beautiful Ludwigs. As we all know, he had a coated Emperor as his batter head, and a coated Ambassador as his resonant - tuned higher than than the Emperor. That being said, I was pretty close to achieving my dream of mimicking his sound through the basswood rack tom of my Ddrum Journeyman Rambler.

Now I gotta save up enough for a damn Giant Beat..
