This is a nice practice pad for good old rudiments and has a good material. It has a great bounce effect. This can really help you if you are starting drummer as if you are a professional drummer. But it has some flaws. To start this product is not the one from the picture. in the picture we see a 35cm or 40cm practice pad. the one i got is 15cm. so yes is a lot more smaller. And that can bring you some problems. Also is all the material. where it says "vic firth" that is on black plastic. And this pad we see in the picture that i have had the chance to play features a double side that you can play in and the one is sold does not have that. The material that you can play in is kind of loose, so maybe you would have to reinforce it. So in the end Is good, you can practice a lot of different techniques and it will improve your drum speed and skills so is kind of what you asked.

Really nice bounce, very small and relatively light. Great for traveling. You can also screw it to a cymbal stand or similar if you just wanna have a little something at home to practice. The bottom is rubber so it won't slide easily from any surface.

This pad is great, it has a nice bounce sound is nice and quiet and portable. First off dont buy this as your first pad its too small. I recommend investing in a heavy hitter pad like the stock pad. This pad is a little bigger than the palm of your hand so its preety small but it still works. Its great if you cant fit a foot long pad in something or bring it somewhere but it is really cool. overall nice small little pad get it second or eaven third its not great for starters as you dont get the full feel of how big the drum is

Wish this was a little larger, but I like the 2 sides to this and it's pretty light. You can use the plastic side to hear any issue you have with your rudiments and the rubber side for when you want to practice quietly in your room.
