Great chanter

I've got the same chanter, only in cocobola wood. Great sound, great balance with the Gibson reed.

If you're just starting, the long poly chanter is actually where I would suggest starting, but, if you want the "wow" factor of ABW, and have a case to protect it.. this is a sweet instrument. Beware, drop it once on the tile floor, and you'll be back here ordering another one.

Most excellent instrument

Absolutely love this thing, I know people say early in piping it doesn't really matter if you go wood or poly and that they sound the same but it's not true. The wood is warmer and a little quieter and a gorgeous piece of work. Jerry does some find work, get 'em while he's still kicking 'em out.
