This is a wonderfully made piece of rather thick, yet flexible for as thick as it is...helps to make say, a solid 45 deg angle, and allows breathing due to not having to put 2 90's in, all of it reduces flow. Great stuff, will buy again if needed, would strongly recommend to friends and family!!!!

This sounded great in the description and from the picture but in reality it is low quality and flimsy. It says it's 8 feet long but when you begin stretching it out it is basically aluminum foil and falls apart. Not sure if it will come close to 8 feet.

This is exactly what you expect it to be. High quality, strong, rigid, yet you can bend it. You can't do sharp turns, but that's expected. A little hard to work with due to it being so rigid, but that's the nature of this kind of product. You'll have no issues with this.

Does the job. I was not able to extend it to 8-feet, but I did not need that much and I have not worked with this style ducting before. It is easy to damage/come apart, as I quickly learned. It ripped as I tried to extend it. I am sure that it was just my inexperience with working with this.
In the end, I had enough and it does exactly what it needs to do! I'm happy with it.

This is great if you are REAL careful when handling or bending into 90 degree turns. I used it a few times for easy STRAIGHR runs (no bends). But this last time I needed to turn a tight corner and this darn thing fell apart at the "seams". It is really made like THICK aluminum paper and it is easily punctured, but where you would expect seams - it's edges are really just pressed together. Too much bending or jostling around and the " seams" let go! THERE is NO way of putting it back together! (Necessitating another run to hardware store!)

If you bought this at Home depot, they WILL take it back! But If you have to do any tight bends I recommend 4" normal flexible ducting withOUT insulation - much more flexible and can easily take rough handling!

I'm a 15 year HVAC professional and this product is great! It is made to be used as exhaust duct and generally not designed for use in a comfort air duct system. It is a bit fragile, but careful work during installation will assure that you have little problems.

Makes it easy to hook up to fan unit, and roof vent. Have to insulate pipe, wrap R14 with plastic wrap and foil tape, as I reside in midwest and it gets winter quickly. Nice product sturdy but thin have to be careful when stretching to desired length rips .

Just gotta state that this is by far the best semi-rigid aluminum duct pipe i had ever purchased. Needed a sturdy, but flexible piping that can go right through my 6" concrete wall after drilling for a day or so and to my surprise, it was almost a perfect fit!. Will be doing another project and will surely purchase another one if needed.

In my opinion, completely satisfied with the price and delivery was fast & item came undamaged, a huge plus.

Overall, i would recommend it, it is so versatile.
