Battery is used in a LiftMaster Elite Series 3850 garage door opener w/ battery back-up. The OEM Liftmaster 485LM EverCharge Battery lasted 3 years, and latest replacement, Power-Sonic PS1250F1 battery, lasted 3-1/2 years. Being satisfied with the performance of my previous Power-Sonic battery, I’m buying the same one again. I also use a Power-Sonic PS1270F1 in a gate operator which gives lasting performance too.

The battery had a 12.8 volt reading upon arrival. If serving as a battery back-up, it’s still a good idea to verify a system is working properly by removing the primary electrical source (typically done by placing circuit breaker to off position, and then activating the device). The F1 in the model number indicates 0.187" quick disconnect tabs vs. an F2 which mates w/ 0.250" quick disconnect tabs. Detailed specifications and performance info about this battery can be obtained at the power-sonic website by typing in the model number and then selecting the pdf document.

Because of wanting to avoid the hassles of returning a damaged battery, I’ve hesitated buying lead acid batteries online out of concern w/ possible shipping damage and/or premature failure during the warranty period. After checking w/ local dealer whose price w/ sales tax was almost double the online price ($14.99), I decided to purchase through Amazon.com. At least one concern (i.e., shipping damage) has been removed as Ace Comp Solutions did a good job packing this battery and delivered outstanding service as it was ordered on a Thursday afternoon, and delivered the following Monday morning using regular free shipping. Very happy buying from this seller.

Update:
Battery won't keep a charge anymore. Very Disappointed!

Exact replacement for my previous battery. Last one lasted 5 years without a single problem, then a crack appeared in the case and had to replace (even though it still worked). Expect the same 5 years here.

Usually these battery are good performers and typically last a long time, an average of 3 to 4 years.. This battery provided by the seller was defective. I tried contacting the seller but I haven’t received a response. I ended up paying my alarm company for a service plus the price of a new battery. When you order a battery online make sure you check the voltage immediately. If you get anything under 12v it‘s defective!! Plus, make sure you order from a responsible seller that backs their products!! I learned my lesson!!!

This is the same battery I have always used for my security system. The longevity of the battery is approximately 3 - 5 years which is about typical for this type of battery. The battery provides backup power whenever we lose power to the house, ensuring the security system remains active during these outages.

Very often, the cause for a malfunctioning UPS is the battery no longer holds a charge. It's much cheaper to replace the battery than to replace the whole unit. Two screws, two connectors, and it's done! How easy can that be?

The product arrived with protective clips on the battery terminals, which was a nice touch. This particular battery is used as a power backup for a simple security system - and it plugged in perfectly. The terminals were a nice tight fit on the aligator clip wires - and the battery has performed well.

I did not test the charge when I received it, but I've had it in place for a few months and the system recognizes that the battery is still in "full charge" mode. Seems to be a good product and it arrived "fresh" apparently.

My home security system started to beep every so often and a yellow trouble light indicated something was wrong let me know...well..that something was wrong! ;-) I have a DSC annunciator that blinks for code...rather basic...but figured it out that the battery was probably bad. So I read many reviews and thought the price and quality of this battery were perfect. This one is rated at 5amp per hour versus my old battery that was 4 or 4.5 per hour. I'm a bit compulsive and when you shop for a replacement for anything you usually want to err on the safe side...get the same color etc. Well, this one isn't black like the others! LOL ...but it works great and the price was among the very best I could find. Fast shipping, nicely packaged, low price....installed and working fine...works for me!
