I believed I had selected a vendor who was selling the real deal right down to the Santa Cruz we love your animals marketing. It was only AFTER I put it on my dogs and it did not do a thing did I fish the box out of the trash and see that it was missing the EPA numbers which certify authenticity. Unfortunately you can only use Frontline once every 30 days so now I and the poor dogs need to wait a month before I can use REAL Frontline. Meanwhile they are getting daily flea removal baths which is a hassle for me. (The dogs are actually starting to dig the shower/tub - they jostle to be first in.) All this time in the tub - fake vendor should at least gift me some dog-friendly rubber ducks. Don't be the fool that I was and think this 1/2 price deal is real. Half of nothing is nothing.......except fleas!!!

I've used Frontline Plus on my dog for years and its been great at quickly killing fleas and prevention. However, this pack has done very little. A week after application, my dog still had some fleas on him and they haven't gone away. Even after a second application, the fleas are still there. Going to have to try a different brand of medication for now to get effective results.

Frontline Plus is the best of the lot in flea & tick prevention. This product does what it says it will; my dog had been tracking in ticks which I discovered a couple of times when I woke up a couple of mornings and found one of the vile creatures attached to my scalp. I found the best price for Frontline on amazon and so tentatively ordered it, hoping it wouldn't be old or fake - and I am happy to report that it was neither. I've only found one flea on my dog since apply this 3 weeks ago and it was at death's door; no ticks whatsoever! My dog has suffered no ill effects from it either. It's easy to apply and very much worth the money if your pet is plagued by fleas & ticks.

I have used this on all of my dogs for 10 or more years and as long as I keep up with it, I never have problems with fleas or ticks. I forgot for a couple of months one year and ended up with fleas - had to get an exterminator and then went back to the frontline and no problems since! I also use the cat version on my cat.

My dog's skin is so sensitive! If I don't keep her hydrated she gets really dry from rashes, scratching and dandruff. This product doesn't make her skin irritate like other cheaper flea meds have (especially the cheap ones from Walmart, they made her scratch all night until her skin broke and bled, never again). Plus, the medication lasts long and I never find fleas on her anymore (I check constantly to prevent her from scratching so much). Even though this product is more pricey, but it works great. I haven't used any other product since I started with this one.
She's happy, I'm happy. :]

We have a black lab/jack russell mix and this specific frontline product has worked fine for us since she was a puppy. We'll keep her off of it during the winter months, when fleas aren't much of an issue for her but during the summer, after she's been scratching for a few days we'll put this on and she'll be fine by the end of the week. I was about to buy another box of two of it when I saw it only had a three star rating and thought I needed to leave my own review! Of course one of the one star reviews was left by someone complaining about the flea problem on their cats, so I don't feel like it's really relevant to this specific frontline product.

I adopted a bonded pair of dogs two years ago in July and they got itchy within about six weeks. I realized they had fleas and started searching around online only to find horror stories about many flea medications. So, to be safe I went to my vet and asked for a recommendation and he said Frontline so that's what we went with. He explained that the flea life cycle is three months so we would have to use three sets before they would be 100% flea free. It was a long couple of months but once we got there they were flea-free. We've been using it for two years now and we use it year round (I live in Michigan). I know some people try to just use it during the "flea season" meaning primarily summer or perhaps late spring and early fall as well but it takes 3 months for it to fully work and if you start using it too late in the year and they do get fleas, it will take a full three months of treatment to end the entire life cycle. So, we just use it year round and Amazon has the best price that I know of. Both of my dogs have been free-flea for the entire 2 years with the exception of a few months when we lived with a roommate who had a pet who they did not treat. During that time they never had a full outbreak but they would get a flea or two on them and Frontline only kills the adult fleas once they bite so if your pet is around a pet that has fleas (or in an area that has fleas) do be aware that some my get on them but that doesn't mean frontline isn't working to prevent a full infestation.

If you go to Google and search for "Frontline Value Kit" you can find the exact same product in kit format for way less than what it is here. The only difference is that you measure out the monthly doseage yourself. No matter where you buy it, though, Frontline is certainly the best product to use.
