The 16-gauge, 3-1/2" diameter steel shell encloses an interior spiral louver baffle designed that increases velocity and decreases back pressure and projects the sound waves into a high temperature fibermat material. The Purple Hornies is finished in a distinctive purple finish. Available in 18" case length with 2-1/4" slip-fit or three styles of 3" 3-hole direct header-mount designs.

Mufflers are awesome. They create a deep rumble. For their short length they offer excellent tone value that is not too loud and gives the car that thunder sound.

I got these to follow some flowtech headers and was pleased when I found these. They're half the cost of cherry bombs and construction is a step above. The spiral core baffles mellow the exhaust at idle, but really roar when you get on the skinny pedal! Perfect for that Hot Rod project. Only twenty bucks and some change!!??? Amazon rocks!!
