The Multi-Tow adapter worked like a charm for me. It was advertised as used but came in the factory packaging and looked brand new. I had to tow a 6 pin horse trailer with my 7 pin Dodge and everything worked perfectly. The 12v aux power pin and the elec brake pin can be reversed in the adapter should it be necessary to change the pinout depending on your application. I haven't had the need to use the 4 pin adapter yet but I did ring it out with my voltmeter and everything registered as it should. All in all, a very good deal for less than $11 and a handy item to keep in my truck toolbox.

Bought this to hook up both my boat trailer, which is a four flat, and my horse trailer, which is the 6 round to a Nissan Xterra SUV. It does work, but it is not a tight fit, so it can jiggle a little in the car/truck fitting. I would be more confident if it were a little bigger in diameter leading to a slightly tighter fit. Frankly, I don't know if the looseness is due to the size of the Xterra's light connections or this adapter being a little on the small size. It could be either and I wouldn't be able to tell. All lights worked on both trailers, which is what you are looking for in the unit. The end that connects the flat four and the 6 pin had very tight connections, so no worries at that end.

Works very well for its intended purpose. Allows you the option of 3 different electrical wiring hookups to different trailer plugs. No rewiring needed and it does not extend too far past the permanent 7-blade wiring socket. Easy to install or remove but locks in place.

I have two trailers. One with brakes, one without. This product keeps me from having to keep up with 2 different units. I have used both and both work well for me.

This adapter fills the bill for my vehicle that came with a 7 pin connector. I have most of my equipment set up for the 6 pin round and one trailer that uses a 4 pin flat connector. To use one adapter for both conversions is a big plus.

The product works great when hauling a bumper mount trailer. We have had to use it to hook up our fifth wheel and it tends to come loose alot. Due to the fact that there is not a way to retain it in the socket.
