I love this ice cream scoop. It is a very small size--actually hard to find this size anywhere. I used this to fill miniature sugar cones with different ice creams. Worked beautifully. It has a wonderful feel and responds better than any other ice cream scoop I've used. It's heavy so it can better cut through hard homemade ice creams. The surface is textured and allow for the ice cream to come off easily. It does heat up fast with warm water. As a warning: if you use very hot water, the handle will be hot.

It's an awesome scoop. It can hold a fair bit of heat and tends to clean up well. It's a decent size for removing ice cream from a pint container, maybe a little small if you eat half a pint at a time. The anodized version is a fair bit easier to clean than the polished one, so that's great.

This ice cream scoop works really well and never sticks. The one ounce size is small, but I really like it because with an ice cream maker at home, I usually have several different kinds of ice cream and sorbet in my freezer. This is the perfect size if you want a scoop of two or three different flavors.
