UPDATED March 3rd, 2014/ I Painted one PVC patio chair/ one small PVC table/a big flower box PVC and the tray under it with two cans/ The Table and chair have many areas to cover/ ALL outside unprotected all this nasty winter and holding up very well, but then again I knew I could count on any Rust-Oleum product/ Highly recommend/

Gave it a four * for this reason - Conflicting preparation statement -

Can says no 'primer' needed - yet recommends wiping objects down with 'paint thinner' for better adhesion - went to eHow - washed with straight ammonia - worked fine

Will update after we have sprayed PVC/Plastic patio chairs as shown on the label. May be June until the weather cooperates.

3/29/13: Completely covered barely misting over a few areas within the few minutes it says - it does say bring inside to cure for a week - - so only one chair done 2day - a Rose colored one is 14yrs old and fading .. larger PVC tub took just barely over 1/2 can - pix upl'd now

A perfect Fire Engine clear RED with med shine finish - The one picture has 'spots' because the sun was shining [finally] on parts of the chair.

I purchased this to paint bright red plastic handles. It had no trouble at all adhering to the plastic with no prep work whatsoever. I also painted it well below the suggested temp and had no problems at all.

Don't get it on your fingers, it's a pain to scrub off, even when still wet.

I used this to repaint a cheap plastic toy in order to convert it into a movie prop. The final finish is a was a bit too glossy in my eyes, but then again this is designed for chairs and such. The smell isn't too overpowering as long as you refrain from spraying you nostrils. Cheap but works great.

It was easy to use.
First time spray painting, although it's not hard, just had to prepare the project over newspaper and spray evenly and move across the surface a bit.
And since there's no primer needed, doesn't take a long time!

I just need to make sure to clean off the surface of the material more next time, since I had a piece of grass stuck on the side of the thing I was spray painting.

Great product, easy to use and plenty of it!

This paint is a great way to transform old plastic items, giving them a new life.

I first tried it on a couple of very old white plastic chairs that I thought were probably beyond salvaging. Stained and covered in white "plastic dust" that transferred to clothing, they were no longer useful. However, I washed them as directed and then used this paint in an attempt to save them.

The transformation was amazing - they looked better than they did when they were new! The color is saturated, the finish looks professional and they are now the centerpiece on the deck. It was well worth the cost of the paint and a couple of hours to apply two coats. I've now painted other outdoor items to match.

It's best to use on a low humidity day with no wind. A drop cloth of some sort is also advised to keep any overspray off of your lawn or driveway.
