I purchased this soaker from Amazon because 1)plastic doesn't corrode and 2)I could not locate one locally. I had a metal one previously, and after a year or so the metal became rusty. The plastic is solid, not flimsy. The neck is solid thick plastic and won't break off. Yes, if somebody stomped on the grilled side I am sure it would break. This item also has a flow adjustment on the opposite end of the hose connection that allows you to control the water flow rate from light, medium and heavy. I would purchase this item again.

I was looking for a metal one, I saw this and had to say something about it. I have one, never could get the flow to adjust, turning the knob does nothing and now the knob just falls off. It also tends to make a high pitch squealing noise when the water is turned on more than a dribble. I'm looking for different one because I don't like this and the water flows out of it, it doesn't bubble. Maybe mine is defective but it's never worked for me.

This was just what I was looking for and it is working great. I wanted a lot of water really quickly without blasting my plants or putting holes in my garden, and this does just that. I also bought a metal version of a different brand. They are both good, but I like the adjustable feature of this one and use the feature more than I thought I would. We'll see how it lasts, but the price was right and operation is exactly what I wanted.

I got two of these for my garden. They are working out very well. Not much to tell about a plastic water bubblier, but I am using them right now. Unlike the more expensive metal one's which I have, these can be adjusted to water light, medium, or heavy. How cool is that? If I decide I need anymore, I will definitely buy some more of this type.

Purchased the product expecting a better flow rate than delivered. The irrigator is also louder than I would like, but seems to perform as needed. It is not as sturdy as I had hoped, and I constantly worry that the slightest fall will break it.

It is adgjustable and all, but I could never really find a setting that gave me the soaking at the speed I wanted. It made some noise and it wasn't the gentle bubbling sort of thing as I expected. I don't think they're really anything special, but plastic is forever, so unless I forget to bring them in and they freeze, I should gets years of service from then.

I like using this soaker for my roses--which is why I bought two. One is at the front of my yard; the other is in the back. Set the soaker so it releases as much water as you like; then set a timer to remind you to turn it off or move it around. Easy.
