It's a deal and it's as good as any other cast iron dutch oven I've used. Bake some good bacon fat into it to amend the factory seasoning and you've got yourself a winner. The lid has legs on it too which helps when you want to use it as a skillet. I got 2 friends to buy it and another sale through one of those friends, it's contagious, especially when you compare the value to other ovens.
