Used this to install an aftermarket unit in a 1989 Ford F250. Plugs fits ok, but pins are not held tight so you have to be careful or you'll bend the pins when you try to plug it into the vehicles harness. Wiring info on package did not match vehicle; I'm pretty sure the package info was wrong, because the truck is bone stock with a factory stereo. Anyway it's pretty easy to pop out the retainer that holds the pins into the plug and move the pins around, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

I recently used this to install a radio in a 1996 Ford Bronco - it worked completely as expected. All of the wires come color coded and labeled which makes the actual install a breeze. This is nice because OEM radio harnesses are NOT color coded consistently with aftermarket radio manufacturer's wiring harnesses. In other words, on every radio that I know of, all you have to do is connect the radio's harness to this harness, according to color (double check the manufacturer's instructions, just in case), and then you simply plug the female ends of this harness into the male ends of your vehicles OEM harness. All of the wires on the harnesses come "pre-stripped," which makes this even more convenient. The harnesses snap into the OEM harnesses securely, and seem to be well constructed. I recommend using heat shrink to secure the connections, because it makes for a very clean install. The last perk of using this harness is that you aren't forced to irreversibly butcher your OEM harness!

Cons:

-None (Make sure this will fit your vehicle, however!)

I would recommend this product to anyone looking to install a radio in a compatible vehicle.

Very easy to use, fit perfectly into my trucks connectors. Packaging had a wire color code list, all I did was compare colors from instructions on radio and compared them on this to connect the proper colors. No issues with the wiring harness. Very happy with it. Thank you for making such a great and easy to use product with great instructions. If I purchase another radio for my truck, I will be getting another set of these for it. Highly recommended for anybody wanting to replace their stock radios.

Made it much easier to wire the new head unit into my 86 F150. Make sure that you keep the bag this kit comes in as the wiring information is on the back of the bag. The color coding worked/matched perfect with this kit and the Pioneer MVH-X380BT head unit with bluetooth!

Did not fit my 1997 mustang gt. Very cheaply made . The wires are a smaller gauge than other kits and OEM. Would probably degrade the sound quality . Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars and get a better one. Seller was of no help

This was idiot proof! Colour coded wires AND there was an explanation of each colour both on the wire itself and the packaging. The wires are pre-stripped which made installation even faster. This snapped right into my '96 Bronco. Great product, great price, fast shipping.

I used this to install my amp and equalizer into an 89 mustang. The plugs fit snugly, and the wires were plenty long enough.

The front speaker wires for mine were not in the correct positions. To get the left speaker I had to take the negatives from the fronts and the positives for the right speaker.

Just what I needed for my Ford. The color coding was correct and the instructions accurate.

For best results, you'll need to connect the wires with a soldering iron and some heat shrink tubing. Crimp-on connectors are unreliable.
