In the food desert that is my neighborhood, peanut butter is considered a luxury, topping out at around $8 for this 40 ounce container of overly processed, deliciously rich on the pallet spread. In an attempt to avoid this outrageous price gauging, I opted to order this double dose of creamy delight, 80 ounces of furiously mass produced Jif. I must say, it was exactly as I expected: unnatural peanut butter in mass quantity.

This peanut butter excels at the following uses:
- Spread on toast for breakfast
- Coupled with a jelly or jam spread to create a sandwich, perfect for a low maintenance breakfast or lunch
- A dip for cookies; DO NOT dip Oreos (this will not be delicious)
- An additive to protein/nutritional shakes
- A dip/spread for vegetables, particularly celery (due to its strong, fibrous fortitude)
- A body spread for sexual endeavors with an overweight partner
- Rubbed on the tip of your dog's nose (his struggle to remove it will amuse you)
- Eaten with a spoon during times of foodlessness

Some of your super expensive peanut butter makers complain about Jiff, but I don't see why. All Jiff has in it is roasted peanuts reduced to a cream texture. Maybe it's the sugar, and Jiff does have sugar, but it's real sugar, not high fructose corn syrup, which has been proven harmful to the human pituitary gland but is still used by many big buck peanut butter makers. Jiff also has a little salt in it, but nowhere near enough to bother me and my doctor-prescribed low sodium diet. The price, the taste, the availability, the reliability--Jiff is still Number 1 in my book.

Truth be told, I personally have a bit of preference for Planters Peanut Butter that I have purchased via Prime Pantry. But, peanut butter usage in my house has dramatically increased, compelling me to give this 80 oz twin pack of Creamy Jim a try via the subscribe and save option.

I had not eaten Jif in a while, so didn't know what to expect. I am happy to say I was pleasantly surprised how great Jif tasted! Very creamy and spreadable with a true peanut taste. Has tasted great on sandwiches, crackers, and in my cooking and baking. (Hint: add some peanut butter to your frosting when you make brownies for an extra yummy treat!) My 2 canine companions also love it as a treat on a dog biscuit and to cover their nutritional supplements.

While I do prefer Planters just a little bit more, the preference is not enough to stop using Jif. If you use a lot of peanut butter, I highly recommend the subscribe and save option. A great value for this versatile peanut butter.

It's peanut butter! I always hold Jif and Skippy up as the best peanut butter brands to go by. Don't buy the reduced fat or anything like that, they taste funny and have many other unneeded stuff added.

This package comes with 80 ounces of awesomeness. Seriously though. It's bad if you like peanut butter because it'll be gone within the week. Or that's just me.

On a serious note, it's your standard, American peanut butter. Either you like the stuff or you're allergic for the most part. The pricing is about average with the costs at my local stores, if not, a dollar more per 40 oz.

This is the peanut butter that I absolutely have to buy for my kids - both old and young - and me, too. This is a very good tasting peanut butter with such fresh peanutty taste. We make sandwiches. We put it on crackers. Some sneaky person at my house eats it out of the jar and I think I know who it is. This is why the twin pack is such a good deal. I grew up on peanut butter and banana sandwiches and the peanut butter was always JIF. If we ran out of bananas, we used homemade jelly with the peanut butter and that was pretty good, too. Also, if you are into making your own fudge, you might try adding just a large tablespoon of Jif just at the end of the cooking. The peanut butter flavor along with the chocolate is delicious. We wouldn't be without JIF. If is also good on celery or an apple. Peanut butter is very versatile. We love it.

I only buy peanut butter in large sizes and this was a great price! My husband eats a lot of peanut butter and he only eats Jif! I never want to be without so buying more then one jar is a must! Jif always tastes good and fresh! I would buy again if the price is right!

we use it for our puppy's kong kong toy when we are going to kennel her so she doesn't feel as if she is being punished, and jif fits the bill. just right to fit down inside the hole because i think it's not as thick as other peanut butters. for eating though, i prefer adams or skippies. jif is also great for making peanut butter ice cubes for this hot weather
