When the first ingredient listed is sugar that means it has more sugar than any other ingredient. I can buy Bonne Manam at a much lower price to get that.

Said another way, draw a line in the middle of the jar and reflect on the fact that one half is totally sugar and that too much sugar can cause many ailments, including liver failure.

Another discrepancy is calling it preserves. In the US preserves include the whole berry; this is therefore jam.
