I'm sure this is a great calk as far as vinyl adhesive calks go, what with the mold-resistance. It bonds fine. It's very easy to work with. But vinyl adhesive calks are too brittle when cured if you have a joint that is at all flexible, for example a formica panel, or something that expands a lot with temperature changes.

This is common knowlege for some people, but producers should really indicate better on the labels what the calk is and is not good for, perhaps suggesting one of their other formulations.

If you need something that can flex, look for a pure vinyl or silicon calk. The former is easier to work with (stretches like mozzerella) but getting harder to find on shelves these days -- that does emit a LOT of fumes.

Ingredients of this calk: ethyline glycol, phthalate esters, n-butyle acetate, vinyl acetate, acetaldehyde, formaldehyde, ehtyl acrylate, acrylonitrile, acrylamide, crystalline silica -- you'll want to keep the room ventilated for weeks afterwards.

I used this to repair some seams in our bathrooms on counter tops and in a faux marble shower. It was easy to install, cut and squeeze the tube to get a fairly consistent bead of caulk in the corners and seams. I used a bevel tool to get a nice corner seal. I used the almond to match the color of the ceramic tiles and the faux marble.

This caulk worked very well but I would recommend a longer drying time than it states and you absolutely must make sure that the surfaces of the material is clean. It even recommends the use of rubbing alcohol to remove soap scum and any soil on the surfaces before caulking. I can tell you this is critical. I cleaned the areas thoroughly before I started and those spots worked fine. I had a little caulk left over and I put it on a spot just to dress it up but I didn't use alcohol to clean it. Two days later I easily wiped it off with my finger nail.

I also recommend that you allow 36 to 48 hours for the caulk to dry before you get it wet. The longer the drying period of time, the better off you will be. Clean-up was easy and the product wipes off with a damp sponge as long as you do it before it skins over.

Overall I am happy with the product and I would use it again. On new construction I believe it would be easier without the soap film issues.

Needed some caulk around our patio door to keep the dust out of our bedroom because the weatherstripping was shot. This caulk applies on white but, dries clear so you wouldn't notice if you did a lousy caulk job, but I do say myself I did a great caulk job. GREAT PRODUCT for those less skilled in caulking.

I love the ease with which this tube can be squeezed out, and the fact that it fits in tight places unlike the big caulking gun. Also, the cap allows for the caulk to stay fresh, pretty much indefinitely. I used up a tube of it well over a year after I first opened it. Purchased the next one to have on hand. Great product!

I tried 10 caulk brands and this was the only one that dispersed easily. I discarded all the others. This applies evenly and is very smooth. I purchased the Almond Color. There are so many shades of "Almond/ Cremes, Beiges. It does not truly match. Unless the area I am caulking is white, I use this. I do not use it for waterproofing. I use it to seal around windows, under bathroom sinks, cracks in the wall and now above the door frames. I live on a dirt road and using this cut the amount of dust by 3/4. It also keeps most of the bugs out. And the squirrel no longer goes poop in my closet! Now, don't laugh. Never say never. I can easily remove this caulk with an Exacto Knife. I love it and I highly recommend it.

This worked well behind my kitchen sink where the old caulk had come off. Just scraped off all the old, cleaned it really good and applied this. It was very easy to get in behind the sink and faucet with this type of applicator, that is why I purchased it. Could Of never got behind there with a caulk gun, just to big. Was glad I could get it in almond to match my counter, so did not need to paint over it. Its been on there a few months now and seems to be holding great. A very good product for those small areas you might meed to caulk.

It's true, like the other reviews say, this stuff is garbage. I just stripped off stuff that I applied months ago, and the inside portions did not dry at all...still all soft, mushy, and wet after all this time. Skip this product, and buy anything else. It will be better!
