Do not pay a mechanic $200 or more to replace your fallen rear view mirror onto your glass windshield! Get these "standard" backing clips if your mirror uses them, & follow the directions on the "mirror glue kit" you can get at any hardware store. You CAN do this yourself! The 3 choices came with my perfect fit for a Ford Explorer multi function rear mirror w/headlight dimming controls. There was a lot to glue back onto the window, & the new mirror bracket worked wonders. (Don't forget to "rough up the glue side" a bit with sandpaper for better sticking to your windshield!) Thank you for the perfect fit & for saving me so much money at the car dealer.

I expected that this would be the bracket that attaches to the window. Instead,it's supposed to slide into the bracket on the window, which has come off my windshield. It's of no value to me. Delivery was prompt, and these are metal, so if it's what you need, it should be fine.

The kit comes with the buttons that are most common. You'll need to clean them up with rubbing alcohol before you use them because of the metal residue left in manufacturing. It worked for me.

It got the job done for me. My factory bracket came off with a piece of the glass. this was a direct fit for me. Have an 05 impala. i glued it at a differnt spot with some silicone glue
