This product is great in neutralizing odors.
It's got a pleasant, subtle scent.

I like that it contains baking soda so I know it is not full of all kinds of chemicals. Cats do so much grooming it's important to keep their feet away from harsh chemicals.

I'd recommend this product to any cat owner.

I have three cats and four litter boxes, but all three will only use one of the four litter boxes.

This product combined with Nature's Miracle Universal Odor Control Cat Litter Box Filters and cleaning the litter twice a day ensures that my house does not smell like a tribe of cats lives there. Visitors can rarely tell that I have cats at all, until one of my cats steals their hat, glove, or shoe. (A pair of shoes and a pair of gloves is a little beyond their capability)

As another reviewer stated, this does not emit a perfume type of smell. It smells like baking soda, which is what I'm pretty sure this is. However, this seems to be a much finer grind of baking soda than is readily available.

Overall, this is an effective product. Any odor elimination product only goes so far though, none of them are magical odor nommers. Be a responsible pet owner, clean up after your pet often.

I use this everytime I clean out or scoop from the litter box. The smell is fresh and not overly "perfumey." This is a necessity with 2 kitties!

In our home we have an automatic litter box. There is no cover on it. It does a great job of self-cleaning, but there are still times when the odor is unbearable if our cat has done his business recently. This product is shocking in how effectively it masks the odor and deodorizer smells wonderful! I don't know how long the deodorizer smell will last on a regular litter box, but once an hour has gone by on the automatic one and it has completed a full rotation, the smell is gone but by that time so is all the cat poop. I'm very happy I tried this out months back and now it is a recurring purchase for our family.

This new awful perfume makes me headache. I wonder why my cat is avoiding the litter and pissing around my house lately. I simply don't understand what is wrong with the original scent..........

I have a cat with unusually bad smelling poop. Even after cleaning the litter box, the box itself and the whole bathroom still smelled pretty noxious. The Arm & Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer has solved that problem!

I am giving this product a 4.5 out of 5 stars because it does what it claims it will do, but there is a minor problem. It is very heavy on the perfume, which might be why it works, but it is strong. I tear up when I put it in. Also, if it is just sprinkled on the top my cat won't go near the box. My solution is, when I clean the box I sprinkle a thin layer across the top. I always then put a new layer of litter on top of it. Then I swirl it up with the litter scoop. The heavy perfume smell immediately subsides and the cat has no problem with it.

I recommend this product for cats with odor issues.

Great and powerful deodorizer. One of our cats decided that he didn't like it and wouldn't use the box if there was deodorizer in it. We have stopped using it for that reason only. I would recommend giving it a try but watch your kitty to ensure that he is okay with the change.

Works as advertised, cuts the odor significantly. I find it works best for me if when I clean the litter box I put a layer of this down then swirl it in the fresh litter with the edge of the scooper. This way when she goes to cover up her deposit the A&H kicks in and instantly knocks down the foulest of odors.
