These are great! My two rotweiller puppies are getting pretty big/strong, but they're no match for these cables. Chewing, running full speed, constantly getting them tangles around each other, no problems. After several months of use, I have seen no signs of wear that would effect the strength of the cables.

Simply not as break resistant as you might expect. Rosie weighs only 12 pounds and is 12 years old and this only lasted a month before I found cracks in the cable.( yes, she as with all Skips, is very busy) As she fits through our iron fence slats, and Skips are prey seekers, I have to tie her out when she is outside. I need a solid heavy tieout line for her and this one did not hold up even if rated for a MUCH larger dog.

I bought this for camping. I use it to keep my ferocious 9yr old blind pug within the confines of our site so that no big critters with functioning eye sight try and snatch him for dinner.

This cable works perfectly for wrapping aroung a table leg or tree stump. He is slow and doesn't pull much so I am sure he will never test the 920 lb threshold. This cable could probably tow my car if I ever got stuck. It's pretty durable and has a clear silicone-like protective layer over the cable itself so it won't fray and snag. It's also not so thick and heavy that it weighs him down. It's the perfect thickness.

I'd recommend it.

This plastic coated metal tie out is an affordable option. However, the plastic does crack pretty quickly. It hasn't affected the performance yet, but I will probably have to replace this item with in a year of buying it. Still it's cheap enough to make it worthwhile to me.

I got this tie-out as part of a package deal with a stake, and the fasteners started showing signs of oxidation within a week of being outside. A year later the cable's coating has broken in a number of places exposing the cable beneath, and the fastener has rusted closed so I'm going to have to cut it off the stake with a Dremel to replace it.

If you need something in a pinch this cable will do. If you want something that lasts look elsewhere.

This seemed like a great product until my dog broke the line. There is no way this has a 920 pound break strength, I have a dog that weighs 75 pounds and he snapped it. This would be ok for smaller dogs under 50 pounds or so but be careful and watch your pet when he and she are on this line.

The cable is a beast but I dont like the clasp they are hard to open and almost inpossible with 1 hand. But as far as the cable its better then most I have used before
