I knew that I was buying 5lbs of bulk Mary Jane candies, but what I didn't expect was that at least 25% of the individually wrapped pieces had "bled through" the wrapping so there were sticky globs of caramel candy on the outside of each piece. It was an absolute mess. I've never experienced something like that when buying these in a normal sized package and have never previously gotten a single piece that had burst through the wrapping, so this must be related to the 5lb bulk purchase. I would not order this again.

These candies are just the same as they were in the 1950s. They taste great and they stay fresh for at least couple of months. Then they are gone! This 5 lb bag is a great buy. They don't come in a fancy serving display, but just take them out of the big plastic bag and put them in your own candy dish. If you liked them when you were young, you will like them now.

this bag of Mary Janes looked as if it had been subjected to a very hot invironment at some time; the wrapers were more transparent than the normal yellow tent on the normal candy. the taste did not seem to be effected but unwraping the candy was more difficult (i would say) than normal.
