Great Fit, Very comfortable. I use them for Jiu-Jitsu under my Gi.
Sadly, I had only trained in them about 15 times before the stitching
started coming apart on the pair of them. I heard they were the best,
but, that has not been my experience. I have now worn them about
30 times, and If they last another 30 wears, I will be surprised.

I was looking for knee pads for some young men that train in mma. I read about these pads and the best price was on amazon. Where I went wrong was that I didn't make sure it came in pairs. I ordered three single knee pads. The pads themselves are great. The reason for the three stars .. it's not clearly stated that they don't come in pairs. I know that knee braces, for the most part come only one because you usually hurt only one knee but not knee pads. But then I should've gotten a hint from the title "Cliff Keen Wraptor Knee Pad" ...no 's' at the end of the word PAD!

After a knee injury at a Judo tournament sidelined me, I began looking for a knee pad I could wear daily to protect my healing knee from unexpected falls, as well as keep it warm and supported. This knee pad does it all. My knee is healed, and I still wear this knee pad during Judo practice, tournaments, and anything that presents a risk of re injuring my knee.It is light, comfortable, low-profile(i routinely wear it under street clothes), and stays in place. I even wore it while surfing and it didn't budge. I cannot recommend this pad enough. 5/5

I really needed pads for Judo practice, my kneed constantly were getting injured, these help ALOT: However, the nature of Judo requires non stop action and these knee pads can not keep up, they constantly start to fall down and with alot of use the threads come loose.. The material and padding quality is excellent, just be prepared to keep pulling the up..

I have only been practicing aikido for about six months and I still have issues with the ukemis (falls) since most of the time instead of falling straight to my shoulder I tend put the knee first. This let me two ugly round scars in both of my knees and my knees themselves were beginning to resent all the falls and all the weight (we also spend a lot of time practicing on our knees, there are several defense techniches thar are done in this position).
One day that I was doing nothing but ukemis and could not stand the pain, my boyfriend lent me his (He falls great but he does have a congenital and quite serious knee problem, thus suwari waza and hamni handachi kill him)and I saw heaven
They fit very well, they don't slip but they're not so tight either, they are incredibly confortable and do not impede your movements at all but every time you fall or sit you appreciate them a lot. They also cover the knee cap as a whole and it is very good for people recovering from knee surgery (A friend of mine had a surgery three months ago, bought the caps after seeing mine and she's already practicing).
Just a comment: Each package brings only one knee pad so be alert. I truly recommend to buy a pair since you will definitely have an equilibrium distortion when sitting and all your weight will fall over the unprotected knee.

5 nights a week 2.5 hours per session doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and my knee pads are now over a year old and showing no signs of falling apart. The stitching is the same as the day I bought them. The only visible wear is the silk screen CK logo on one of them wore off, the ventilation holes in the backside of the pad are stretched out (not a bad thing since it allows more air), and they smell like something died in them LOL. I wash with Tide Sport Frebreze twice a week but after a year it's just not possible to keep em with the new car smell... I've more than gotten my moneys worth out of these pads. I would recommend these to anyone looking for knee pads for BJJ. They're low profile and stay completely out of the way while rolling. And your training partners will appreciate them when you go knee on belly on them. ;) I didn't expect them to last 3 months when I bought them since other reviews stated the stitching fails over time. That hasn't been my personal experience at all...

2 years, 5 days a week, 2.5 hours per session... Still functional. Left side has no tears or stitching issues just the stretched vet holes. The right side which I think I put on the mat more finally split along the inside edge but the way they're designed the outer material is still adhering to the pad material so it's still 100% functional. In my opinion these are extremely well designed pads and well worth their money when you can get 2+ years out of them. I fully expect a third year out of my left pad and hoping the right side will make it another full year but thats a tough call now that it has a hole....

These kneepads offer great protection and decent mobility. They can be worn with an infrapatellar brace for extra support. Unfortunately, they don't breathe very well so sweat may be an issue for some users.

This knee wrestling pad protects and allows free movement. The only negative side is that the stitches on the front pad were coming out, so we had to fix it (sewing it by hand). But otherwise, very soft, flexible and protects a lot.
