I love these Theraband exercisers, which my hand therapist introduced me to. I've collected some of the toys I used in therapy to use at home. TheraBalls are small, comfortable, inexpensive and effective.

They are great to use as "worry beads" but have had a fantastic effect on strengthening my poor injured and arthritic thumb.

I left on behind after a visit, and the hostess didn't tell me, because she loved using it herself.
Be sure to start with the incredibly squishy yellow one first and work your way up.
Another great product to use with this is TheraPutty. Thera-Flex Therapy Putty - 6 oz - Yellow - Soft Resistance

I'm getting arthritis in my fingers and understand that exercise will help keep the joints more mobile. My only problem with the ball is that it's a bit sticky on the surface and that stickiness does not wash off.

Sold one of these to a customer and received a phone call 1 hour later stating they opened the package, squeezed it and felt a liquid substance come out all over their hand. The ball had a tiny hole in it that was not apparent without being used. I do hope I can return this and get my money back since I had to give her a different one.
