I decided to buy this and a 10 FT one so I can completely rewire all the computers in the network and they work perfectly. My speeds are amazing and the build quality is really solid with these. They are great to have when you need to rewire, and I decided to finally get rid of all the old Cat5e cables I had. It feels so decluttered.

The retaining clip is very weak and broke on first use. I inserted the cable in the Pyle Home PHCT45 Network Cable Tester and it did not latch well. I removed the cable from the tester and gently bent the clip back and it broke off. For this price I expect better quality. It also is not "snagless". I did not do a data test with it, only a static test with the tester and it tested fine. I returned the item and ordered a C2G / Cables to Go 27167 Cat6 550MHz Snagless Patch Cable (100 Feet, White) instead.

There's not much to say. I needed a really short cable to connect a cable modem on one shelf to the switch on the next shelf down. This one is a high quality cable and it works. I'd recommend this cat6 brand in any length.

On another subject, Nero fiddled while Rome burned...evidently, in the present day, instead of fiddling, we debate on national television.

This is just a basic patch cable, no big deal but it works fine. I especially like that the disconnect levers are exposed and therefore easy to use. Many cables have the levers covered with rubber which makes the cable a chore to get out of whatever it is plugged into.

Speeds seem fine to me. I'm actually running this from my wireless router to the wall, coupled through the basement, then coupled again for 125 ft to the pool shed to another wireless router. 25 mbps still out there on speedtest. All cords were Cat6 from StarTech. good seller and product.

cable was defective on arrival. I did not want to wait another 3 days to have one shipped. Had a guy fix it for me at work. if you are using this for a time sensitive project just order in plenty of time to exchange if their quality control system fails.
