They were a tight fit to get in, but it's NO fault of the pins. It's Chrysler's bad design.

I had to get help to hold the door, iI found doing it by yourself IS possible, but it's SO much easier with someone to work a floor jack and wiggle door while pins are seating. Took me a couple of minutes.

Then once in, GREASE them once in a great while so ya never have to do it again!

Bushings do not have the inset in the inside diameter as the picture shows. They are simple bronze bushings. I will saturate them in hot oil, in the hopes they are an oilite type bronze, to help durability, and install with good grease. Not a huge issue, as they are less than $10 and the jeep they are for is pretty well seasoned, but an accurate picture would be nice.

This part is the right replacement part, but is nearly impossible to peen over due to the upper hinge mounting on the Jeep Grand Cherokee - no way to get a bucking bar in place with the hinge welded on the door....

Ok, so considering the amount of work to replace these things, they should last longer There are too many comments here and on other sites that confirm the lifespan of this replacement part is very poor. Therefore the part is kind of a waste of time. Does anyone know a better quality part source that isn't very expensive? Somewhere on YouTube I saw a video about a $50 part for the pair; that seems way to high.
