5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Journal July 15, 2005
Subscription Term Name:1 year
I read a lot of literary journals, and I just came across the Florida Review. The current issue has a few of the best short stories I've read in a long, long time--and the poetry was absolutely superb. I'm glad I can subscribe on Amazon...and I'm looking forward to my next issue.

5.0 out of 5 stars I highly recommend The Florida Review to everyone. July 30, 2014
Subscription Term Name:1 year
I really enjoy this literary magazine, because there is a little bit of everything here, some fiction, poetry, art, nonfiction, and also book reviews. Overall, it’s a really great read! I also recommend you try it out because the topics are very relatable and thought-provoking, like family love and loss, to humor and grief. I really enjoy the fact that the magazine is very surprising and delightful. One thing I’ve also noticed about the issues is that the writers come from all walks of life, and there is no prejudice in terms of stories or characters. I suppose what I like the most is the credible voices, especially in the stories of fiction and nonfiction. On top of all of those great qualities, I really love the covers! The magazine is high quality, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Astounding October 14, 2010
Subscription Term Name:1 year
A fantastic literary journal. I'm amazed by the quality of work they're able to find. In the Winter '09 issue they published one of the best pieces of nonfiction I've read since Sedaris or Oates. Their interviews are in-depth, and their book reviews are insightful, too. On an aesthetic level, the layout of the journal is simple, sleek and meaningful. I'd highly recommend a subscription if you're looking for a quality lit journal!
