The Galileo CC-872 refractor telescope is the CC series telescope geared to the more serious viewer though is still easy enough for a child to operate. Great for terrestrial (land) viewing the Galileo CC-872 telescope takes the CC series to the next level when it comes to star gazing. The large 72mm objective lens pulls in 44% more light than the CC-JRME model telescope. The addition of an accessory tray can hold your eyepieces and other small accessories. Plus, the Galileo CC-872 refractor telescope is made with a heavy duty 1.25 metal helical rack and pinion focuser for increased durability, performance, and permitting the use of larger higher quality 1.25 eyepieces. With an air-spaced achromatic objective lens, and multi-coated optics the Galileo CC-872, like all Galileo telescopes is built with "The Galileo Difference" so you know that quality optics is what you will be getting. Galileo Trilogy software includes instructional videos and Planetarium program to help you pinpoint any star or planet at any given time. All of these features, along with all of the included accessories, ensure that you will have all you will ever need to observer the world around you just as Galileo did with your Galileo CC-872 refractor telescope.
