This bucket is perfect for milking cows! It is seamless, heavy duty, easy to clean and wonderfully made. I have no issues with it at all. I do wish there was a lid to fit, but making your own is not a problem. And for the price, I shouldn't complain! Works perfectly for our application and is WAY cheaper than the "official" milking buckets.

The handle style is not as pictured. What was sent to me was more like what is pictured forIndipets Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Pail, 4-Quart, with the handle meeting the side under the lip NOT curled up above the lip.
It does have a sticker saying Spot Diner Time Stainless Steel Pet Dish by Ethical, the bottom sticker does say 13 Qt. S/S Kennel Pail w/handle. I passed up another bucket slightly cheaper because of a review saying the same thing.

It also says it is 17.9 x 12.5 x 12.5. I was hoping actually that the height wasn't correct, but accurate descriptions and pictures would be NICE. The bottom is 9 inches, the top is just over 11.5 inches including the .5 inch lip, and the height is under 10.5 inches.

The handle feels very firm, the bucket has some give to the sides with pressure from my thumb. It seems like a very sturdy bucket. The bottom is not flat, the inner circle raises up slightly.

It gets a 4 for seeming like a good sturdy bucket, minus for being inaccurate. I may update later if it fails in its purpose.

I have owned this bucket for about three years now & it has worked great. It stays outside in my dog kennel in northern Utah all year long. I put a water heater in it during the winter months. It gets the typical abuse two full size labs dish out. After all this time there are still no rust marks on it. I am very satisfied with this product.

We bought several other pails for our farm at local stores that cost more and were not the quality of these pails. Stainless is the only way to go to keep your animals healthy. The only exception is when you are adding apple cider in the water for goats, as apple cider will create a chemical reaction with any metal pail. These pails have stayed out in the weather all winter long and they still look like new. I would recommend them to anyone.

My bucket came with a dent that was almost cracked through. It wasn't worth shipping back. It also doesn't have a lip on the bottom which makes pouring a real pain. You would think, since they do make buckets, that they would actually know how one should be made. They don't.

The quality of this product is awesome and it will last. I have two large German Shepherds that can drink at the same time from this pail. If you have a small dog, go for the same brand just a smaller size. If you have a medium to extra large dog(s) this product will work great for you.

Seemed really nice when it was brand new but after four months out on the porch it has rust along the top rim. I'm pretty sure stainless steel will not rust. Vendor did take it back and give a full refund.

I was looking for a bucket that would hold about 3 gallons worth of milk and wouldn't be too tall or unsturdy, and this one fits all my criteria perfectly. It's short enough that it fits under my miniature cow perfectly and since we are just milking her once a day I only fill the bucket up halfway... so I could feasibly use it for two cows in the future. It is not easy to tip over and is relatively heavy, so even if she kicks it on the side, it's tall enough that it's hard for her to get her foot into it, but heavy enough that it doesn't tip easy. I love it!
