These little cubes are awesome for feeding crickets. It's hard for me to comment on the product itself when there are so many timelines that the crickets may endure in the future. Just be sure to check the nutritional contents and be aware that this supplement may not be in the best interest of whatever you may be feeding the crickets to. On their own, this serves as a decent diet for crickets and my mother and I have been caring for a veiled chameleon with relatively good results. This is not the only supplement to the cricket's diet that we use, but these cubes are good for producing crickets with regard to the nutritional values of the cubes, in controlled quantities.

I use this product to feed crickets bought at the local pet store for my daughter's pet Grey Tree Frog. I was looking for something easy to use so the crickets would actually live long enough to become frog dinner and I'm glad I bought this! It's easy to cut the cubes into smaller sizes if needed and you don't have to buy the water gel since it contains enough moisture, thus saving you money. Now I can buy several weeks worth of crickets and keep them all alive instead of going to the store every week! I like that there's also extra vitamins and calcium so it makes the crickets more nutritional for your pet.

This is a great product. My crickets love the stuff, and I know that my bullfrogs are getting a complete diet. I usually buy 1,000 crickets at a time, and only go through about half the jar. HOWEVER, that's because I buy the 12oz jar. That is the size in the picture, but they are selling just the 6oz size. THEY ARE SHOWING A LARGER SIZE THAN WHAT THEY ARE SELLING!!

I keep four different reptiles and frankly as I learn more I find this is a bit of a waste of money, if you eat any fruit and vegetables yourself.

Crickets and mealworms will devour real greens with more gusto than this stuff and they eat so little that you can just cut a tiny bit off kitchen scraps and you'll be fine.

Important to note: I dust the crickets and worms occasionally so calcium and vitamins are secondary to getting the insects moisture and natural trace elements.

These cubes are ok, but it's unlikely I'll buy another jar. Save the dosh and buy an apple.
