The Melitta Jr. Basket Filter says it is 4 to 6 cup size, but they are small enough for my 1 to 4 cup coffee maker. Hallelujah! These things are fast disappearing from grocery shelves, and the little ones were the first to go.

I use a lot of this size filter but forget to buy them regularly. Also, this size is sometimes hard to find even in the larger supermarkets. It is great to have a whole box of them on hand. Also, I think they are more economical by buying them basically in bulk.

I like buying stuff in bulk. You'll always need coffee filters, so why not stock up and always have some on hand?

These ones in particular are quite hard to find. Having a smaller sized coffee maker just makes sense, as it's just me and my girlfriend. These fit well, filter well, and having 2400 of them (when I bought them two years ago) was great. I'm about halfway through them now I guess. In another two years, I hope they are still available for restocking my pantry!

Before I found these, I had tried numerous other brands with varying results. A lot of the time I just couldn't find appopriately sized filters in the grocery store, so had to buy larger ones and 'make them work' - which never worked out well.

What a deal. I have enough coffee filters to last me at least 3 years. These go with my office coffee maker and with the amount of coffee I brew I have enough filters to last. My coffee pot will probably break before I run out of filters for it.

As for the coffee, they work just like any other coffee filter I've used. Holds up and fits my coffee maker just fine. I did find that when your stack is getting low, the filters don't fit as well in the coffee maker due to the bottom layer being more spread out than the top layers. I keep using the bottom layer until I get annoyed, then just grab a new bag.

We buy these large packages of small coffee filters because they are hard to find on supermarket shelves any more. We use personal-size 4-6 cup coffee makers to make one large cup or mug of coffee at a time, and the filters usually available are too big to fit comfortably in the small basket. So it's convenient to get a whole bunch of the right-size filters every few years. That's the niche that this product fills nicely. Melitta is a trustworthy brand, so you won't go wrong and get a whole bunch of bad paper; we never have rued our purchases of this product, and we have been buying it for what must be decades now.

Hey, they're coffee filters. We use the Melitta #4 natural brown cones in our Technivorm Moccamaster drip coffee maker. The filters fit perfectly and don’t add any taste or flavor. In other words, they do their job. Buying the coffee filters in bulk makes them very inexpensive. Recommended.

HINT: There are seemingly dozens of sellers of these Melitta natural brown filter cones here on Amazon, with a bewildering set of prices and packaging bundles. Be sure to do your homework before buying.

Your typical coffee filters for way more than they should cost. Hubby ordered these here for MORE THAN FOUR TIMES what I paid at our local store for identical product. I paid about 1c each. I guess they're hoping ppl like him who don't usually buy these will pay this not realizing. I get convenience mark up, but this is way too much.
