I love the Perri Sisters, I looked wide and far for this CD and could never find it until I looked on Amazon. My favorite song is "I got no place to go"

Back in 1982, I was a senior in high school, I was attempting to find my way when I was introduced to the artistry of the Perri Sisters by a close friend. I purchased their recording Flight back in 1990, it clearly gave me direction in so many ways, while many of my friends were vibing off of rap music, Perri was offering me perspective on life. So so happy for the gift of music and what it has meant during the course of my life. Music is the true meaning of art and The Perri Sisters truly exemplified that. They were one of the most amazing sister groups of the late 20th century which were not given their just due.

I bought the "No Place to Go" cassette single back in 1989 after hearing it on the radio; I don't remember what song was on the B-side. Somehow or another, I misplaced it and couldn't remember the name of the song nor the group. Today, while driving and listening to the radio in my car, I heard Brian Culbertson's "I'm Gonna Miss You" and the singer's voice reminded me SO much of the song on my lost cassette. Lo and behold, after a little internet research, I find that the vocalists are one and the same, Lori Perry!! It's amazing what the heart and ears can remember! I hadn't played that cassette nor heard "No Place to Go" on the radio in more than 20 years! iTunes doesn't have it, so I'm purchasing my "Anthology" CD today. Thank you, Amazon!

Really good CD that contains many of the classic Perri tunes. Only disappointment was that a couple of my favourite tracks were not included in this collection. Other than that, I am happy with the purchase.

I really enjoyed every bit of this cd. It brought back great memories they are a tremendous group and the harmony is tighter than ever. You don't get to hear voices like this anymore. They sung backup for "Anita Baker" and you can see why they are one of the best. I miss their sound on the airwaves. The Perri sister are jazz, r&B, and gospel all mixed in one, they display their music very well. Anyone who purchase this cd would be in for a real treat. Just feel good, moving and timeless soul music.

This is a very unique find... I've been looking for this CD for years. Perri has a sound that will never be duplicated! I suggest this CD to friends and family. It is Perri at their best. I wish the group would put out new material. This is a classic that will never go out of style. AWESOME!!!
