These toys are among the best plush dog toys out there, and we've tried several. I don't think any are truly "indestructible" since there's always a dog somewhere that will defy that claim, but these are well made and worth buying for the majority of dogs. Just be *sure* to buy the size that suits your dog; don't buy one too small that can be swallowed easily! Dr. Noys' toys are great in that they always include an extra squeaker in the pack, and the toy squeaker is easily replaceable in its hidden velcro pouch. (Squeakers are not indestructible; that's why they include an extra. But the advantage here is that they are very secure, and can't be eaten.) You can even buy separate packages of squeakers if your dog is tough on plush toys. Or you can remove the squeaker if it drives you crazy! ;-) In the larger sizes you can replace the squeaker with a tennis ball for active dogs.

Pay attention to the sizes listed: extra-small is really small, best for only the tiniest toy breeds or for small puppies. Medium will work for most dogs, but if your dog is a shredder, loves to destroy plush toys, only get the large sizes. If you have certain breeds, like Staffordshire terriers and bull dogs, then perhaps another toy would be a wiser choice. You know your dog.

So if you're tired of buying so-called "dog toys" that are really glorified baby toys and easily destroyed, try these. Ours have lasted for two years with hard play, only replacing the squeakers. Even better, they're usually included in the Amazon 4-for-3 promotion, so you can get one free if you buy four (smaller sizes)! That way you can test out different designs, or save one for later. Highly recommended!

The frog still lives although it's now blind but all in all it is not yet distroyed. Good Product, I agree with previous review buy the right size for the dog that you have.

One of my dog's favorite toys, manufactured by Petco, has been discontinued, so I was looking for something comparable to "blue monkey." I saw this, and the name, and said "Bingo!" My dog gets so excited when he gets a new toy, so of course I get excited, too. Well, when I opened the box, I couldn't believe my eyes. I bought a medium, and it is big enough for a puppy, that is it. Maybe a Yorkie. I wonder how teeny the small is! Unlike other poor reviews, I can't complain about the lack of stuffing, because it states in the description that it's a plush toy, free of stuffing. The squeaker is in the head, and there's only one. They send a replacement squeaker but for the life of me I don't see where you'd insert it. Overall, I am very disappointed in this toy, because of the size and the lack of multiple squeakers. The most long lasting toy my one year old, 20 lb yorkie mix has. I do supervise his play with stuffed toys because if he swallows that fuzz it hinders bowel movement. This toy is great chiefly because of the durable Velcro access to frog's belly. After Buddy tore out the squeaker, the fuzz in the head and limbs, and any lining material, I started "hiding" his tiny stuffed chicken and his stuffed "eggs" in frog's belly. He loves ripping open the Velcro and working the chicken gradually out. To make it harder I put chicken down in a leg or up in froggy's head. After all that work he's satisfied to lie down with a foot on froggy and sleep.

I really like these dog toys, since my dog was a puppy he has ripped every plush toy to shreds. I would come home to stuffing and squeakers everywhere. I have found that this toy is the perfect solution.

The back of the toy has a Velcro area that you can open and remove the stuffing and squeaker. I think the real reason is so you can replace the squeaker but we use it strictly to pull all the stuffing and squeakers out. The toy stands up pretty well to the chewing and abuse that my dog puts it through. We purchase him one every year on his birthday and at the end of the year it is often a little ripped it usually still in one piece.

I adopted a 3yr old choc lab 10 months back. She is super well behaved & has no bad habits at all (god bless). I gave her a few toys to entertain her while we are not home & does not really take to anything too much. 6 months back a friend got her a small squeaky santa looking toy & she took to it immediately & played with it every day till last week when it finally gave way. I ordered this furry friend from Amazon & it arrived today 01/30/12 & I gave it to her. It was an instant hit & I was so relieved. Not even 5 mins later it was destroyed & there was fur all over. I just could not believe it. A KONG toy gone in minutes. Absolutely unacceptable. Today itself I am returning it to Amazon. I do not believe I will get a refund as it was used but I should get one for the poor quality of the product. I will update this.
