Caution -- Deception

I ordered an Hewlett Packard Part #Q5998A Maintenance Kit. I received a box with no mention of HP. It contained all of the parts listed in the real HP maintenance kit product description. I called the USA printer Guy and spoke to an employee who told me that they buy individual parts from various manufactures and create their own maintenance kits. The Kit I received is not a genuine HP kit. The seller description of the item is deceptive - you think you are buying an HP maintenance kit when you are buying a kit created by the USA printer guy.

CAUTION! NOT GENUINE HP!!!

DO NOT BUY! This is NOT a Genuine HP Fuser/Maintenance kit! After just a week of printing the gears on the side of fuser became very loose and fragile. Actually, the whole thing started falling apart. It makes a terrible very LOUD noise when it prints and causes a paper jam every time we use that printer. In the end I had to purchase a genuine maintenance kit. I know this one is listed for a lot cheaper then the genuine ones are, but TRUST ME, just buy a genuine one. It will save you the headache/frustration and ultimately it will save you money as you'll probably end up having to buy a genuine one when this one fails after a few weeks!

Installed in an HP LaserJet 4345 mfp
Was a little worried on ordering because the price was so cheap, but I am glad I ordered it.
Works great. Came with everything that I needed for the Printer Maintenance Kit.
Came with all the rollers and a few extra's incase you have multiple add on trays.

Only thing that was missing was the installation instructions. Not a big deal though. I downloaded them from HP's website.

The PDF shows you how to replace the maintenance kit and how to reset the kit usage so that the printer knows it was replaced.

Had it installed for almost 2 weeks and its working great. When the time comes I will buy another one of these from this seller.

Expensive but necessary

Our HP 4345MFP was beginning to print black streaks down the page, once this kit was installed everything was fine...
