Years ago (like 10 at least) a very good friend of ours told us about Gastrosoothe. We have been hooked ever since! It works! She warned me, and I will warn you, that the taste is very strong and when you chew it, it will make you cringe . . . but the result is short of miraculous. No other chewable antacid can compete with Gastrosoothe! My parents (in their 80's) take it too, along with my brother. Give it a try. You will not be sorry! I decided to add this review when I saw only two people had reviewed the product and only gave it 4 stars. Pretty shocking . . . so here is FIVE STARS because it deserves it!

I found out about this product through Dr. Sherry Rogers in her book "No More Heartburn". It is an excellent book for anyone suffering from digestive problems. The GastroSoothe has been a lifesaver for me during times of stomach problems when prescription drugs didn't agree with me. The only problem is that it contains calcium carbonate which some experts say can cause calcification in the body. (This is also said about most calcium supplements not just this one). Dr. Carolyn Dean is another expert in this area of calcification as is David Wolfe. David Wolfe has a lot to say about this.
The reason I said short-term is because of the calcium issue. The Bottom-line is.............when you are desperate for relief this is the product.

I love to use Gastro-Soothe. It has been one of the best indigestion remedies I have ever tried. If you can get over the taste and the cost, it is far superior than the chewable antacids available at most retail outlets. I suffered with ulcers, reflux disease and irritable bowel syndrome. Gastro-Soothe has been a great way to calm the indigestion, along with aloe vera juice and orange oil I have no more reflux and my ulcers are healed.
