We mounted these speakers outside under an awning and wired them into a stereo system in the house, and they work great. No issues yet, and considering that they are being used for background music outdoors anyway, they are surprisingly good.

I was looking for an inexpensive set of outdoor speakers with decent sound. A little disappointed in the quality of sound but of course the price was right. If I were buying all over again I would identify a speakers which I could listen to first and I would probably spend a little more money.
