We installed these and love them. I don't like normal lazy susans (things fall and get lost) so we installed this to separate our recycling. Where we live you have to separate into metal, paper, glass, cardboard and plastic. It comes with sticker so you can label what is what. We decided to dedicate the three trash cans in the recycling center to metal, glass, and plastic. These three b/c plastic isn't heavy and we don't use much metal and glass. We are storing our paper elsewhere b/c that's what we recycle the most of and it's heavy. Though the recycling center is very sturdy we figure it'll hold up better in the long run if we store our paper elsewhere. We built our cabinets so there was a lot of extra room to either side of the bins. We will store our cardboard here.
I know when we installed we have to cut the rod to fit our cabinet. If you have some tools and are semi-handy it shouldn't be a problem.
These would also be great to use for trash. We used the middle can for a little while (when we didn't have doors on the cabinets) when we were having issues with our dog getting into the trash. Being at the back of the cabinet he couldn't get to it.
I do worry about having to eventually replace the trash cans and it being an odd shape and size. Something to think about.

We built our home and when designing the kitchen, I just had to have this (special ordered through construction store). Now, 10+ years later, it is holding-up GREAT - we're still on the original bins with no sign of wear-and-tear. It rotates smoothly, it is easy to hang/unhang the bins in spite of the weight of their contents (we use 1 for garbage and two for single-stream recycling), plastic trash bags work perfectly, and it effectively/efficiently uses an awkward kitchen space. I have to say this is quite possibly the best thing in my kitchen. My husband was really sceptical about installing thing afraid that we would destroy our hardwood custom cupboards. The cupboards were installed about 10 years ago. I have been looking for the perfect thing for garbage and recycling. Garbage cans take up lots of room and let's face it don't do anything for your decor. Which is why when you put your house on the market you are suposed to remove them from all rooms. This unit puts use to a deep cupboard that made it hard to organize. My other lazy suzann cupboard holds all my kitchen appliances within reach. In stead of installing it directly in the middle, we put it closer to the front. This gives us room around the edges for vases and even a coffee pot we only use at holidays for company. When you install it this way the section you are selecting sticks out of the cupboard for easier access and when cleaning the countertops, I simply wipe the mess directly into the garbage and right off the counter. What makes it possible for me to use this valuable cupboard space for garbage is I have paired down my kitchen items...if I haven't used it in the last year it is out of my house or in less accessable storage like the attic. If you are building a house put one in! Each basket uses a regular kitchen sized bag,but the shape is not standard.

I purchased the KV Rotary Recycling Center With Out Door Hardware White about two months ago. I'm very happy with it. This unit makes great use of a difficult space to utilize in the kitchen - a blind corner cabinet. It is extremely convenient to have a 3-bin recycling center in the kitchen. It has saved me countless trips to my outdoor recycling bin.

Overall the unit has proved to be very sturdy and holds as much weight as you could possibly put into it. The bins are easy to take in and out for emptying.

My only minor complaint is that it did not explain how to shorten up the post (cut it) to fit your cabinet properly. With a little simple measuring though, I figured it out. Just make sure that you don't cut too much off! Measure twice, cut once.

Works great! I installed it in just a few minutes, and it passed my husbands inspection. It's very easy to load in and out, and it spins very very well. We have really enjoyed this investment. We bought this to replace the lazy-susan we didn't like. It fit well into our cabinets, which surprised me, because the cabinet has a rounded back (it's a newer type), and I thought that would make it too small.

This little rack saves me on loading up the garbage can. It allows me to separate the different kind of recyclables, as my town doesn't have curbside pick up yet. My house is older and it doesn't have the fancy shelves in the corner cabinet, so this rack makes the best use of that space for me.

When we bought our house one of the lazy Susan's door was broken. Hubby tried to fix it, but it couldn't be fixed without remodeling the kitchen.

So, I found this product while looking for a simple recycling bin. It's a bit pricey. However, it's worth every penny we spent. My hubby had no problem installing the product on the existing lazy Susan pole.

I find that with the recycling center right by the kitchen sink we are recycling much more than we used to when the recycling bucket was in a utility closet.

We use one bin for glass/metals, one for paper/cardboard, and one for plastics.

We are very pleased with this purchase.
