I know some folks will be turned off by the high price of just one foam filter, but there is a big difference in quality between this one and perhaps cheaper brands. First this is actually going to fit on an SM58, unlike the $1.00 filter I bought at.... which tore as I tried putting it on my mic. Second, the cheap windscreen , did not cut the pops as well as a real Shure. Third and most importantly, it is more acoustically transparent, meaning less loss of high end frequencies than the inexpensive brand. Price does matter in this case.

Used it on my Blue Yeti. Took some working to get it on to avoid any ripping but it fits just fine. I was a little nervous of tearing so I took my time putting it on and taking it off again to help stretch it a bit. Took it off, I believe 3 times, before finally getting it all the way to the bottom.

Works well with my At2020 mic fits a little over halfway down the mic but covers the actual mic on the inside so it blocks a lot of wind also the green isn't as vibrant as on the picture but still a good color

I bought this for my "Blue Microphones Yeti USB". It fits almost perfectly; I need to pull it tight to prevent it from creeping down and leaving a tiny uncovered gap on the microphone.

Doing sound tests, it keeps out a decent amount of breathing and air sounds, but retains quality voice. So it does all I wanted it to do!

These windscreens work perfectly on my Shure SM 58 Mics and help to eliminate breath and wind noise while at the same time keeping the Mics a little cleaner. They also reduce pops and ticks and provide a little drop protection. If I accidentally bump the mic they also help to reduce the noise somewhat. When they get dirty I just wash them with soap and water, squeeze them out and let them dry before putting them back on. Make sure you get the originals. I just purchased a set for a PA system at work and they ended up being a different brand, didn't fit as well and were only half as thick. These ones are better.

I just bought two of these for my SM58 and SM Beta 58. I would highly recommend this. I did many recordings and found it to be a very good windscreen and it also does a good job of protecting the mic head. Price seems reasonable. Hope it lasts for a long time.

I've been doing vocal recordings for quite some time and always had an issue controlling breath noise. As soon as I put these on my mics I could see a big difference. It just works!! Wish I had bought these affordable windscreens a long time ago.

Fits great on my Behringer XM500 Mic. I needed to do outdoor interviews and was concerned about wind noise and this did a great job of canceling that out. You can't beat this for the price! I took my time putting it on and taking it off just be safe about tearing it, but once you get it on, it looks and works perfect for that professional feel.

This foam fits perfectly on a Blue Yeti, which is what I used it for. I personally didn't like how it affected the sound of my mic but for its intended use it fits. You will need to carefully stretch it along the side and it will take some time to get it on. When you do, it stays relatively well.

The foam at the tip has another layer compared to the sides. Which means it muffles the top more than the sides.
