These Ganberg grinding stones work great for sharpening up the chainsaw on our Stihl. We are running a 30 bar and chain, and ain't nothing worse than a dull chain. After hitting into the dirt, cutting up a tree that had fallen in a yard near here, the chain definitely needed sharpening. I am just glad he had sense enough to bring the new chain I had just bought him, with us.
That tree, an old Oak, had fallen, it is at one of those foreclosed houses you see, where the grass is really tall, and no one lives there. Perfect tree for us. Stone Mountain residents along that street were giving us the thumbs up, and stopping to thank us for removing what we could of the poor ole tree.
Anyway, yea the grinding stones, work in the chainsaw chain sharpener that I got for him, and he loves the sharpener and the stones. Wish the stones lasted longer, but that is what happens when you use the 30" chain. Lots to sharpen....
