Our son who is confined to a wheelchair was always having his skin break open on his bottom. Many, many different products were tried and none completely healed the skin. We took him to a wound care physician and he recommended and used this on him for a few weeks while under his care the skin completely healed. However, he said once the skin starts to break down this wound dressing would have to be used every day from now on. It's high priced but not as expensive as trying all the different kinds of dressing that doesn't work. I highly recommend this.

This is a very effective wound dressing. My husband had a very bad pressure sore that had become quite deep. After using Mepilex to help heal the raw surface, we used this to completely heal the sore. Now when I see some redness, out comes the Triad. Also have used it on small cuts and abrasions, and it works well. Our visiting nurse said to cover it with Press and Seal, but actually if the wound is not going to be covered by clothing, nothing at all is needed to cover the Triad. Will not be without this in my first aid arsenal from now on.
