Maximize the boom of your bass with the two-channel Dual XIA2340 MOSFET amplifier, which provides an RMS power range of 70 to 90 watts over two channels. It also provides 200 watts of RMS performance across one bridgeable channel and 340 watts of peak power. It has a sleek, clean appearance, featuring recessed side and panel controls as well as integrated mounts in the heatsink itself. It also includes 12VDC outputs for use with Dual ElectronicsÕ eye-catching illumiNITE speakers, subwoofers, and bandpass enclosures. (The illumiNITE feature constantly illuminates the speakers with blue LED lights when they are in use.)

A heavyweight die-cast aluminum heatsink design provides consistently cool operation, even during prolonged periods of use. In addition, direct wire input terminals ensure no additional terminals are needed. The use of a PWM MOSFET power supply combines high efficiency with cooler operation for increased reliability.

Tech Talk RMS versus Peak Power: Peak power is measured by a brief musical burst (such as a crashing cymbal) and refers to the maximum amount of power that a device can produce from such a burst. However, a more reliable specification is RMS (root square mean) power, which measures the maximum continuous power that an audio device can produce. With a higher RMS figure, your music will sound cleaner as well as louder.

bought this amp paired with a set of DUAL 12's in best buy for 140$. Bumps much more than i need. The sound that this amp puts out is most def comparable to the sony subs i just bought. my sony amp overheats all the time. i want my dual back. Never overheated or anything. easy setup.

I have been very pleased with my XIA2340 amp. Just can't beat the output for the money. I inherited a Bazooka 8" sub, and just needed an inexpensive bridgeable amp to power it. This one has amazed me with the amount of power it puts out. Also, considering how loud that Bazooka gets, I've never encountered problems with light dimming ... maybe it's less to do with the amp then my vehicle's electrical ... but still pretty surprising to me.

All in all, a good purchase!
