5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Canon SD300, September 22, 2005
By Tempuraki (Forest Hills, NY United States) - See all my reviews
I use this card with Canon SD300 camera and have not had any problems described by other users. There is definitely a performance increase over regular cards because with this card i can record 640x480 movies without it ending prematurely due to slow write speed suffered by regular cards. I've used sandisk 256mb SD, kingston 512mb SD, kingmax 512mb MMC, and a-data 512mb MMC with the SD300. all of them can only record hi-res moive continuously for 40-60 seconds. With this highspeed kingston I can record continuously for 5 minutes, at which time the memory runs out.

3.0 out of 5 stars First one died, second one great, September 12, 2005
It worked well for a bit, but now I get "Memeory Card Error" messages. Amazon has been great in exchanging it though. I may have just gotten a bad one.
UPDATE: I've had the new one for 6 months now, and it works great! I'd be at 5 stars if not for the prob with the first one, but it won't let me change it to 4 now.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy SD/512-S for a Canon SD400, August 25, 2005
By Barry G. (California) - See all my reviews
Normally Kingston has some of the most reliable products.
For whatever reason the Kingston 512MB High Speed SD Card isn't compatible with a Canon SD 400. But it's most likely a Canon issue for not supporting Kingston SD memory. I can't really rate it fairly because I could only use it once before I got memory errors from the SD400 and lost my photos.

1.0 out of 5 stars Off-brand is unreliable. Do not risk losing your digital pictures.
When shopping for a larger memory card for my digital camera, I thought all SD cards were created equally. So, I chose this cheaper product from a off-brand manufacturer. Read more
