Unlike pods, the K-cups provide an airtight seal and cup to lock in freshness and flavor, a cone-shaped pure paper filter for superior results, and the ideal grind and measure of 100-percent Arabica coffee beans. In fact, the patented Keurig K-cup is actually a highly engineered, technologically advanced mini-brewer. And brewing occurs inside the K-cup so no flavor residue is left behind to spoil the next cup. For quick cleanup, simply throw away the K-cup when finished.
