I did not realize that the paper tape was on the outside of the unit I don't care for that. Secondly, the print is very light. Fortunately the LED is large and legible but the print on the tape is too light for me. The ribbon also comes in two spools rather than a cartridge which is really a pain. They do make a cartridge but it does not come with one and I have to order them as the local stores do not carry. I would not buy another.
